The arrival of Taya Valkyrie and a new Cruiserweight Champion made sure NXT kept the fire burning after an amazing Stand and Deliver two-night event.
Matches:
NXT Tag Team Champions MSK: Wes Lee and Carter Nash vs. Killian Dain and Drake Maverick: Lee and Nash won with End Transmission. After the bell, Imperium took out Dain and Maverick.
Mercedes Martinez vs. Jessi Kamea: Martinez won with the Piledriver variation and then choked out Robert Stone before letting Raquel Gonzalez know she wanted a shot at the nXT Women’s Title.
NXT Cruiserweight Champion Santos Escobar vs. Kushida: Escobar sent his LDP stablemates to the back, but he could have used them. Kushida reversed The Phantom Driver into a Pinning Combination and won the title.
Swerve Scott vs. Leon Ruff: These two have chemistry. The amount of near-pins was fun to watch. Although Scott won with the JML Driver, Ruff attacked him backstage after. This is not over.
Dexter Lumis, Bronson Reed and NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions Ember Moon and Shotzi Blackheart vs. The Way: NXT North American Champion Johnny Gargano, Austin Theory, Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell: Hartwell and Lumis will definitely have a storyline at some point. Reed got the win with The Tsunami in a fun and wild match.
