NXT Results: Champions Hold Strong

A series of solid title defenses made sure this week of NXT was enjoyable but predictable.


Matches:


NXT Champion Karrion Kross w/ Scarlett vs. Austin Theory w/ Johnny Gargano: The referee had to stop this one as Kross went on a war path with elbows. After the match, Finn Balor makes sure he gets his rematch.

NXT Tag Team Champions MSK: Wes Lee and Nash Carter vs. Breezango: Tyler Breeze and Fandango: Both teams shook hands after the bell but MSK got the win with the Elevated Blockbuster.


Pete Dunne w/Oney Lorcan vs. Leon Ruff: Dunne snapped Ruff’s fingers after the Elbows and Triangle.


NXT Women’s Champion Raquel Gonzalez w/Dakota Kai vs. Mercedes Martinez: González kicked out of the Fisherman Buster and won with the One-Armed Powerbomb.

Kyle O’Reilly vs. Oney Lorcan w/Pete Dunne: O’Reilly won with the top rope knee and Bobby Fish returned to make sure Lorcan and Dunne didn’t beat on his former tag team partner.

NXT Cruiserweight Champion Kushida vs. Santos Escobar: Kushida got the second and final fall in the three-falls match with the Hoverboard Suplex.
