AEW Dynamite Coverage: Factions Gaining Ground

Another stacked card and plenty of foundation building led this week’s Dynamite.

Matches:

CM Punk vs. Dax Harwood w/Cash Wheeler: A lot more compatible than anyone expected. Harwood is awesome but he showed a ton of promise as a singles performer here. Although Punk won with the Anaconda Vice, Harwood never looked out of place.

Private Party: Marq Quen and Isiah Kassidy and The Butcher and The Blade vs. The Hardy Boyz: Matt and Jeff Hardy, Sting and Darby Allin: This was a fun sprint as the faces hit all their finishers in the win.

Bryan Danielson and Jon Moxley w/William Regal vs. The Varsity Blondes: Griff Garrison and Brian Pillman Jr.: The Blondes tried but Mox our Garrison to sleep.

Adam Cole vs. Jay Lethal: Cole won thanks to help from Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly and the Boom. After the match he made sure everyone knew he wanted another title shot. Soon enough the World Champion and Tag Team Champs were mixing it up.

Red Velvet vs. Leyla Hirsch- Kris Statlander banned from ringside: Stratlander made the save after the match Hirsch won by using a foreign object.

Chris Jericho and Daniel Garcia vs. John Silver and Alex Reynolds: JAP was the better team and great heels, leading to a smart win.
