The Stand: Stephen King’s classic found have easily been Fallout- before it ever existed. Whether on the PC or even a console like the Super NES, there were plenty of ways to make the post-apocalyptic tale come to life in video game form.

The Counter of Monte Cristo: This is one of the greatest adventures in literature history. Add in the Castlevania engine and it practically plays itself.

The Rocking Horse Winner: A financial managerial sim/horse racer? It would be weirder than the short story, but you’d love it.
