NXT Coverage: Getting Somewhere

For the second week in a row, NXT 2.0 was more than watchable and led with stronger in-ring action and some fun future encounters.

Matches:

NXT UK Tag Team Champions Brook Jensen and Josh Briggs vs. Gallus: Wolfgang and Mark Coffey: This ended in a count-out as Lash Legend, Pretty Deadly and Fallon Henley all got involved. Diamond Mine took out Gallus after the bell.

Cameron Grimes vs. Javier Bernal: A quickie as Grimes won with Cave-In.

Blair Davenport vs. Indie Hartwell: Davenport get the dominant win with the Brainbuster variation. After the match- she told the world she was the rightful heir to the NXT Women’s Title, but Mandy Rose hit the ring and wasn’t impressed. Meiko Satamura soon hit the ring to set up a three-way dance for Worlds Collide.

Joaquin Wilde and Cruz Del Toro w/Electra Lopez, Stacks and Tony D’Angelo vs. The Dyad w/Joe Gacy: The Dyad got the win with an assisted Code Breaker despite some hard work by Wilde and Del Toro. After the match, D’Angelo berated the LDF but they eventually left with Santos Escobar.

Von Wagner w/Robert Stone vs. NXT UK Champion Tyler Bate: Von Wagner was a beast, but Bate won with a beautiful Twisting Senton.

Tiffany Stratton vs. Wendy Choo: Choo got Scoop Slammed and Caved In on Legos, but ended up putting Stratton through a bed with a Full Nelson Slam and then won with the top top Vader Bomb.
