NHL Lockout Affects Sales of NHL ‘13

The NHL lockout has affected more than just the sport, as sales of Electronic Arts’ award-winning hockey franchise NHL 13 are down significantly compared to last season, according to leading video game sales tracking website VGZCharts.com. NHL 12, heralded as an improvement over the critically acclaimed NHL 11, has sold 630,000 units on the 360 and 500,000 on the Playstation 3 as of Dec. 1.
