Review Fix Exclusive: Inside ‘Men Are From Mars, Men Are From Venus’

Review Fix chats with actor/comedian Peter Story about his new performance in Eric Coble’s adaptation of John Gray’s New York Times Best-Seller, “Men are From Mars, Women Are From Venus.”

Men are from Mars – Women are from Venus LIVE! is making its Off-Broadway debut and opens November 7 through November 29, 2015 at New World Stages (340 West 50 Street).  Tickets are $79.00 and $99.00 and may be purchased at Telecharge at 212.239.6200 or at www.telecharge.com.

Review Fix: For those familiar with the book, why should they see the play?

Peter Story: Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus – Live! offers the wisdom that John Gray so eloquently wrote in his book with a modern day sensibility and told with a lot of humor.  Audiences see their relationships on stage and get a laugh of the commonality.

Review Fix: What have you learned about yourself through this production?

Story: I have learned to be a much better husband. The book was really ahead of its time and gave me real ways to be a better “Martian.”

Review Fix: Who do you think will enjoy it the most?

Story: The best part about this show is that it is for everyone, whether they just entered a new relationship or if they have been in a relationship for decades, there is something for everyone to relate to.  So often you will see wives elbowing their spouses when they see something they do at home.

Review Fix: Bottom line, why should someone see this?

Story: It’s funny and I guarantee you will have a better relationship after seeing the show.

Review Fix: What’s next for you?

Story: I’m looking forward to continuing to travel the country with Mars/Venus LIVE!  We have a full schedule of performances across the country and I look forward to performing this hit comedy show!

Review Fix: Anything else you’d like to add?

Story: This show is a great recipe for a night out: a little storytelling blended with some comedy and a dash of sage wisdom from the book. A delicious evening of entertainment.
